LOREN

Yet its sleek modern form echoes the modular blueprint created by the early Phoenician settlers. Indeed many of the genius design strokes also have ancient roots, such as the ventilation, which takes the natural flow of the valley.

Cleverly created in two sections for ultimate privacy as well as space, the main house is two storeys high and this is where you will find the spacious living areas as well as a master bedroom. Step outside and a single-story block of five en suite guest rooms sit adjacent to the L shaped swimming pool. Echoing the modernist vibe, inside the décor is all light and bright with an importance placed on impeccable craftsmanship and locally sourced pieces by the owners adding warmth. With the natural elements both outside and inside, Villa Loren is the perfect retreat for groups of friends or your annual family gathering.

INTERIORS

Light floods through the elegant main house, allowing nature dense environment to take the centre stage. To add further drama it is surrounded on two sides by a full-height colonnade, which forms a natural extension of the living space, perfect for al fresco dining. A neutral colour scheme provides a feeling of calm and plush soft
furnishings are all that is needed to totally relax. A majestic fireplace provides a central focus for chillier nights. The kitchen is open plan and built to a high specification, suitable for the most amateur of cooks to one of our many professional chefs that you can call on to cater for your intimate soirees. From the elevated master bedroom in the main block, you can look out to the sea, low hills, and watch the journey of the sun from dawn to sunset. Each of the five rooms, that sit alongside the pool, can be made up to be either double or twin as suits the party. In line with the minimalist vision, there are no traditional style built-in wardrobes, but instead sleek clothes rails. Each room has its own en suite yet it is the outside shower space that really takes your breath away, what could be better than alfresco bathing.

OUTSIDE

During the day choose from the many shaded areas or lounge by the pool. White awnings can be lowered down between the columns to provide shade. Opposite the pool is a chill-out area, a kitchen, and a fireplace to warm you at night. For those seeking solace, there is a yoga deck perched between the shrubberies at the front of the house, expect sweeping views of the valley. The high ceiling terrace features statement glass lanterns designed specifically by the architect and as the sun starts to sets offer a warm golden glow by which to dine by.
